We are looking to hire an experienced Accountant to provide day-to-day accounting and financial management of our office. The Accountant's mission is to perform all tasks specific to the financial management of the company: payroll, bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, etc. He/she must be able to report regularly to the Director of Finance and Operations on the monitoring of operations and the financial health of the company.
Main responsibilities
- Organize the collection and processing of accounting information;
- Ensure compliance with accounting and internal control procedures;
- Participate in the preparation of tax and social benefits statements;
- Make periodic orders and reports;
- Participate in the preparation of annual budgets and financial statements;
- Prepare the various weekly, monthly and annual reports;
- Assist the Director of Finance and Operations in external audits;
- Manage the cash flow planning process and ensure the availability of funds;
- Manage the petty cash and report on petty cash replenishment;
- Assist the Director of Finance and Operations in maintaining banking relationships and strategic alliances with business partners

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Management, Finance or a relevant field
- At least four years of professional experience as an accountant or assistant accountant
- Experience in the financial services or technology sectors will be considered a plus
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
- Mastery of accounting software (Quickbooks Enterprise, Sage 50)
- Moderately fluent in English
Reporting Structure
- The position will report directly to the Director of Finance and Operations
Compensation
- Salary based on experience and qualification
- Total compensation will be competitive with marketplace and will include a significant performance-based bonus
